About
I read the studies
so you don't have to.
"No hype. No brand deals. Just the research — and what it actually means."
Erica · Just Ask Erica
I got obsessed with longevity science a few years back — not in a biohacker-gadget way, but in a genuine "I need to understand what the data actually says" way. Every supplement brand was making claims. Every podcast had a different answer. And the actual studies were sitting behind paywalls, written in language that takes a decade of training to parse.
So I started reading them myself. PubMed became a daily habit. I started tracking what the evidence actually supported versus what was being sold, and the gap was significant.
Just Ask Erica exists because I kept getting the same questions from people in my life — about GLP-1s, about peptides, about NAD+, about what to take and where to source it safely. This site is my attempt to give those people the honest version — what the studies show, what they don't, and what questions are still genuinely open.
I don't take brand deals. I don't have affiliate arrangements with suppliers I review. If something is well-studied and appears to work, I'll say so. If the evidence is thin or the hype has outrun the science, I'll say that too.
This site is for educational purposes only. Nothing here is medical advice, and I'm not a physician. Always work with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new health program.
